This week was filled with drama, not unfortunate, can't say blissful, but the word for it I think is interesting.
So at the start of the week it didn't go very well. I got huge blisters on the bottom on my foot and I mean HUGE! from PE. U may say I am just a pansy for complaining about blisters, but they were painful!! So I was limping the two following days.
Two days after that (when my feet were feeling better), I went to play soccer with my friends. And I had a major collision with someone and ended up with a twisted ankle. Now this, was painful. And was limping after that too.
The very next day, I decided that limping around school wasn't an appealing option and stayed home. WHEN, my arm started to swell up. I had had a bee- sting the week before an it started getting itchy. So my arm swelled up pretty bad, it was like I had an injection. The whole arm was sore and it hurt to move it. Now don't ask me why it swelled up a week after the sting, maybe I have slow reflexes.
Yeah, so u can tell that it wasn't dandy. BUT, I heard a message at youth which is called WIRED, taught by a guest speaker pastor Neil Smith (the vice president of Planet Shakers).
Praise the Lord through all circumstances, and seriously, never under estimate the power of praise. Paul and Silus were beaten and severely flogged for proclaiming the word of God. Beaten and severely flogged. They didn't have bee stings, a twisted ankle or blisters, those are so small compared to what they went through that day. They were thrown in prison.
And what did they do? They started praising the Lord! I don't think they wanted to. they were probably covered in blood and bruises, in a dark unhygenic cell. But they did. They did because they understood the power of praise. And you probably know the rest of the story. While they were singing God shook the foundations of the jail and they were set free! And so were all the other prisoners along with them!
That really helped me through the week. And I shared it hoping that it would encourage others so yeah
. Praise the Lord through all circumstances! have a great week! I did.
